Explore the Forest

Grab your water bottle and explore our five miles of hiking trails while learning more about the trees you’ll find in the forest, including walnut, beech, buckeye, persimmon, black locust, paw paw, and evergreen. Signs will show you the way and help you identify the various species. Our QR code program will also help you take a deeper dive into our forested areas.

Forage in the Wild

Join a member of our culinary team to wander and forage for wild ramps, mushrooms, and berries in the forest. You’ll learn about the practice of foraging and how our culinary team incorporates foraged ingredients into our menus at Mary Amelia, our signature restaurant.

Build a Fire

Enjoy stargazing, storytelling, and s’mores as you discover the role of fire on the farm, and how to safely build (and tend) a fire while using natural materials. This experience includes a take-home fire-starting kit and s’mores for all.
